Thank you SO MUCH for writing this!! This is what I have been feeling inherently but did not have any confirmation until now. As long as we are authentic and service driven the business follows! I feel blessed everyday to be part of this profession!

If you could do something you never did before would you?

I mean writing about All-Star Line-up Communicating the
New Chiropractic Delivery System from The Markson
Connection | Chiro Coach Blog is good but is it a safe subject considering your web page is about chiropractor?
All things considered it is a great position however I bet you could try branching into other
subjects like interest free credit card for example.
Just an idea... I pray you do not mind me declaring that.

Excellent topic Rick. Patient education can be passive, i.e., digital billboard in the office or confrontational, i.e., homework for the patient. But, listening is a powerful relationship building tool. One thing that I see way too often are offices that utilize a patient entrance form for new patients.... requiring extensive time to complete and then the doctor doesn't ever refer to the questions asked. Many times the form is never used as part of the program of care. Conversations with the patient are important and conversations should be two-way.

Great post, Rick. This reminds me to be "in the present". Because I can be friendly without really living in the present. But rapport requires me to really be there.

Yes. But then again... there are those that are chiropractors that don't practice chiropractic but something else. Do we include them since they still call themselves chiropractors? It is a funny thing - we should all get along... but we do need boundries. And yet everyone wants to draw their own boundries. Hmmm; what to do.
